This week is going to be fun as I instruct our wives about their roles in marriage.  As you know, the shortest book ever written was the classic tome, "Everything Men know about Women."  I think it was 5 pages total . . . . So as I seek to get inside the head of a woman and instruct her about her role this week, we could get out of worship very early!

Great feedback from yesterday's sermon.  The men are feeling challenged, and men always rise to a challenge, and the ladies are feeling expectant, waiting for their husbands to husband some more.  As for me, my wife scouted out my previous post about 8 concrete ways to show love to your wife and she picked out #8 right away, a getaway with her girlfriends.  I immediately jumped in and with great pride told her that I had just facilitated one of those for her.  Then she accurately, yet humbly, reminded me that she took that girl trip about 8 months ago.  In marriage, you can't live on yesterday's capital, men.  So I will go to work on facilitating that for Kerri right away, as I don't want to be only a hearer of the word, I want to be a doer of the word.
